The main manual construction tools include: electric mixer, mixing bucket, water bucket, trowel, soft brush, water spray equipment for maintenance, etc. Mechanical construction requires a professional mortar machine.
Construction Instructions
Base Preparation → Material Mixing → Wetting Base Surface → Rebar Preparation → Concrete Interface Treatment → Concrete Repair → Curing
A. Base Preparation: 1. The base surface must be clean, dust-free, oil-free, and free of chemical corrosive residue. Loose materials must be removed from the area to be repaired.
2. Remove rust from the rebar and rinse with water to remove dust. A rust inhibitor may be used during rebar treatment.
3. Leaks must be sealed and treated. It is best to keep the base surface moist until no visible water is visible for optimal results.
4. All surfaces at the construction site should be thoroughly wetted with water beforehand.
B. Material Mixing: 1. Pour water into a bucket. Then, slowly add the powder while stirring according to the water-to-material ratio specified in the product warranty. Mix until a uniform, lump-free paste forms.
2. Mechanical or manual mixing can be used. The prepared paste should be used within 2-3 hours.
C. Construction: 1. Mix the repair mortar and additives into a paste and apply it to the concrete repair surface and rebar.
2. Apply the mixed repair mortar to the repair area. If the repair thickness exceeds 50 mm, apply it in layers.
3. When using H-XB mortar for the integral surface layer, the thickness should not be less than 3 mm.
4. When applying to a large area at once, leave construction joints or apply the work in staggered sections. Each section should not exceed 10-15 m2, depending on the site conditions.
5. When applying joints or staggered sections, the interval between application should be at least 24 hours.
6. When applying the integral surface layer to concrete or masonry facades and steel structures, apply the work in two stages, with at least 24 hours between each application.
7. When applying the final finishing coat, smooth the surface in one go and do not apply it repeatedly.
DCure To improve strength and density, proper watering and curing are required after application. Large areas may benefit from wet straw matting.
Notes:
1. The application temperature for this product should be between 5-30°C. Raw materials must be protected from moisture, rain, sunlight, and contamination by debris.
2. While ensuring workability, minimize water usage. Ensure that no slurry flows between fingers when grasping the material.
3. This product should not be applied in rainy or freezing weather. If winter application is unavoidable, take necessary anti-freeze measures.
4. This product should be used immediately after mixing. Do not mix too much material at once, and each mix should be used within 2-3 hours.
5. Wear gloves and goggles during application. In case of splashing on skin or eyes, rinse with clean water.
6. Handle dry powder with care to minimize dust formation. If excessive dust is present, wear a visible mask.
7. This product should be stored above 0°C in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, rain, moisture, and freezing. The shelf life is 6 months.
